Project Highlight – Shawood at Sommers Bend

We are pleased to bring you an extra special project highlight this month. TWR Framing has teamed up with Woodside Homes to produce this unique project: Sherwood at Sommers Bend in Temecula. This product utilizes several building techniques that are outside the traditional wood-framed home-building process. The design of these homes employs a particular type of post and beam construction, with the addition of stainless steel pin insertion at main joints. This job sets the tone for the future of homebuilding with the inclusion of new technologies, sustainable design, and increased safety for homeowners in Southern California.

Around the Warehouse

Another aspect of our business is the maintenance of equipment and machinery that is used daily at TWR jobsites.  One group of machinery is our Cut Off Saws which are used at the start of any phase of a project.  Recently our warehouse team has spent time refurbishing these saws.  New paint, new numbers and tune ups and what a great job!

Builder Highlight: BEAZER HOMES

TWR Framing has been working with Beazer Homes for close to 25 Years. Beazer USA was actually established one year after TWR opened its doors in 1984. However, Beazer’s roots actually go much deeper than that. Beazer homes has a long history from England as far back as the 1600s – There are not many homebuilders that can say that. Over the years we have framed a lot of houses for Beazer and made several great friendships along the way – even after the projects were complete. We continue to partner with Beazer, year after year. We are currently framing two projects for them now, Boulder Creek in Wildomar and Hillcrest @ Overlook in Riverside. Thank you for all of the projects you have sent our way and we appreciate your business!

Dave Rivera Celebrates 20 Years

Estimator Dave Rivera started with TWR in 2003. Working as an assistant to project manager Kevin Schuder, Dave quickly moved up the ranks to estimator and has enjoyed that position for close to 20 years. He learned takeoffs, estimates, and everything he needed to know for a successful career at TWR. This was Dave’s first and only job in the construction industry and he attributes that to his experience with TWR. He says that the consistency they have provided in an industry that is usually less than consistent, has provided 2 decades of stability – he has never worried about TWR’s strength even through the industries most severe challenges. Congratulations Dave on this Important Career Milestone!
