Project Description: Our project highlight this month is on San Carlo II, a 272 unit multi-family project for Rexco Development. This project is located at 5th Street and the 210 freeway in Highland, CA. In total there are 34 – 2 & 3 story apartment buildings and a Rec/Lease building and is expected to be framed in approximately eight distinct phases. 

This is our second project with Rexco. Our first was Terrano II in Corona. Rexco Development is located in Corona CA and has owned and operated its development and property management companies since 1985. Rexco self-manages and oversees construction for all their projects. Rexco has developed commercial, multifamily, office, industrial, and mixed-use projects that have  totaled over 8.5 million square feet, plus several large apartment communities and hotels.

Project Description: TWR is proud to partner with DR Horton on this new community of 76 single-family homes in San Jacinto. Designed to fit a variety of lifestyles, this neighborhood offers a selection of single-story and two-story homes across three separate floor plans. The homes range from 1,890 to 2,480 sq. ft., with up to 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, providing generous space for everyday living. An additional and unique feature, Serrano Pointe also boasts the sought-after MultiGEN floorplan, which includes a private suite with its own entrance, living area, kitchenette, bedroom, full bathroom, and in-unit washer and dryer — ideal for extended family or guests. Jack Newton, VP Field Operations

In the 40 years that TWR has been framing in Southern California we have been proud to have so many loyal and committed employees that have contributed to the overall success of the organization. One person in particular is our current VP of Field Operations, Jack Newton. In 1985, Jack started working as a Foreman for TWR. He came to TWR with extensive knowledge and years of experience as a carpenter. After a decade of running work as a Foreman, he was selected to oversee all field operations and supervise the Foreman and their workforce. At that time there were about eighteen foremen. He successfully grew the field leadership team and as the company grew, he was able to promote others from within the organization to become Area Managers and in 2005 he oversaw eight area managers who supervised 108 foreman and over 6,000 six thousand carpenters.

Shane Sanchez, Foreman

Shane Sanchez worked as a field employee for TWR before becoming a Foreman 25 years ago.  He is one of our most experienced foreman and has even helped to train new foreman up through the company.

Yomaira Mendez, Office Administration

Yomaira began working for TWR as a receptionist 10 years ago. An opportunity arose in our operations department where she became an administrative assistant from there, she took on additional duties within the accounting department. While continuing to expand her skillset in other areas at TWR Yomaira was also taking on the job of managing equipment and supplies for the office. We recognized that she is capable of filling a variety of roles within the organization, currently her title is Office Manager but that is not all. In January of 2025, she transferred from operations/accounting into the Payroll/Human Resources department where she continues to learn new things and is a valuable member of our TWR Office Team!

Bret Richardson, Forman

Bret has worked for TWR for 25 years and during his time with the company eventually became a foreman 10 years ago. Bret is focused and detail oriented and has used these skills to become a successful foreman, overseeing several projects from start to finish for TWR. Congrats Bret!
